Tired of the inflated price tags and egos of big-agency life, Troy left Razorfish in 2005 to build an agency that puts the client first and produces fast results at affordable prices. Within his first year, Booyah was named the fastest growing online agency in US by Inc. Magazine.
He’s a true internet marketing expert and enjoys making complex online marketing ideas accessible. Troy is a passionate, insightful, candid and compelling presenter whose expertise packs a punch. He likes to wag a finger at social media, predict the fall of new technologies, and point people back to the fundamentals of advertising. He joined Boulder Digital Works faculty as an Online Advertising Lecturer and frequently speaks at conferences.
Troy is a Denver native and thinks that gives him special privileges. He complains about the crowds in Wash Park, the traffic on CoBo and the shrinking size of Chipotle’s burritos. In his free time, he likes to run. A lot. He’s got several ultramarathons in the bag and looking for more. He’s cheered on by a wife he hardly deserves and two energetic children.
