About the Associate Content Account Coordinator Role

Booyah Advertising is seeking a driven, detail-oriented, full-time Associate Coordinator to assist in all aspects of executing clients’ organic media campaigns. Responsibilities include content creation, editing, content optimization, and implementation. The person will be accountable for supporting the production of a wide variety of content, acquiring a deep understanding of clients’ business and goals, and becoming proficient in SEO and Content Marketing basics, while improving the performance of organic campaigns for a variety of clients and industries. This position will provide the opportunity to learn various aspects about Content Marketing, SEO, digital content, organic campaigns, and more. This role requires a team player who is hard working and passionate about learning digital marketing and honing their content skills. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurate and timely execution of Content Marketing tasks, including:
    • Client questionnaires 
    • Content briefs 
    • Content editing, QA, and ensuring timely client review 
  • Support the content creation process by understanding clients’ content preferences, preparing content briefs for writers, editing drafts, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all client content deliverables are completed in a timely manner 
  • Maintain client content calendars and provide regular updates to clients 
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure every piece of content is high quality, taking into consideration company goals, brand guidelines, and overall strategy 
  • Editorial requirements include exceptional copywriting ability, basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, and content development 
  • Incorporate client feedback into content and communicate feedback to writers 
  • Use project management skills to report to Content Marketing Manager the status of content deliverables on a regular basis  
  • Responsible for prompt internal or external correspondence with account teams in order to meet deadlines 
  • Source relevant publications to support the execution of earned media campaigns such as guest-contributed articles, press mentions, and partnerships 
  • Create social media posts to support clients’ Content Marketing campaigns, when applicable 
  • Be another set of eyes and ears to support the Booyah Organic Media team  
  • Stay up to date with industry news and algorithm updates  

 

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to produce high quality content in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines 
  • Strong proofreading skills and in-depth knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation; written material with any typos or grammatical errors is entirely unacceptable 
  • Knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Proficient in Google Docs collaboration   
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication  
  • A self-starter with strong multi-tasking and organization skills  
  • Ambition and drive to produce great results for superiors and clients  
  • Ability to work well under pressure  

 

Preferred Additional Skills & Experience

  • Experience creating a variety of content for the web or in print journalism 
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders 
  • Experience in a professional workplace setting, especially working on a team  
  • Proven exposure to Content Marketing and/or SEO 
  • Familiarity with AP Style  

 

Other:

  • Full time salaried position  
  • Employee receives a performance review within the first 90 days to assess long term fit  

 

 

Salary: $45,000 plus Quarterly Bonus based on Team Growth
