About the Senior Data Analyst Role

Booyah is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for working with account teams to maintain proper data structure, data flow, and visualization for Booyah client accounts. This position works with Senior Data Analysts, Director of Analytics, and account teams to ensure client and internal reporting works flawlessly and analytics needs are fulfilled. You will dive deep into website activity, performance, KPI monitoring, A/B testing, web tracking, and more. This position will fill the needs for both analysis and reporting, as well as leading the charge on strategic testing plans and methodology.


  • Build reports, dashboards, and metrics that provide precise view of business performance.
  • Maintain and support current data source and dashboard processes for assigned clients.
  • Provide expertise in ‘stitching’ data sources from disparate sources towards a usable visual-data-layer for account teams.
  • Provide Google Analytics guidance for all assigned accounts. This guidance consists of identifying, planning, and executing analysis opportunities.
  • Create test plans and conduct A/B and multivariate testing, report results and provide recommended actions.
  • Execute tag management strategy and deployment within a tag container; this includes working with paid media team members to configure appropriate code and conversions for a given online campaign and implement web analytics tracking for the assigned clients.
  • Develop, document, implement processes to reflect changes in new or existing data sources. Help QA new datasets and processes.
  • Follow agile demand management process to deliver projects on time in a transparent fashion. Able to prioritize competing priorities and communicate with account teams and clients as needed.
  • Support Senior Directors and account teams with ad hoc client analytics projects as needed.
  • Attend relevant events for the purpose of gathering new skills that will give Booyah and our clients a competitive edge.
  • Assist the media teams in trainings on new analytics technology updates, if applicable, and ensure new updates are on their radar, including how it will impact client reporting and attribution.
  • Assist in client conversations around attribution and source of truth. For example, when to use GA vs UI vs Shopify data for internal reporting.
  • Help the media teams prove out the value of upper funnel media and downstream impacts from that media.
  • Help the media teams in assisted conversion analysis to display the value of non-last touch channels, such as Meta.


  • Previous agency or multi-client consulting and management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience in data visualization with Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience working hand-on with Google analytics/or Adobe Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in A/B testing, digital marketing analytics, and/or e-commerce analytics.
  • Understanding of various testing methodologies is a plus, including but not limited to, A/B, match market, multi-iterative, and more. Able to select hold out groups and back up methodology, monitor statistical significance, communicate testing caveats, and complete wrap up reports and insights on results and next steps.
  • Strong understanding and experience with digital media buying, KPI development and technology practices during campaign planning and execution a plus.
  • Experience in digital marketing data sets, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook (Meta), Google Campaign Manager, Google Search Ads 360, and Amazon.
  • Knowledge of database design, applications, data flows, API documentation, and data governance.
  • Must have strong attention to detail to ensure that data discrepancies/mistakes are caught prior to delivery to the client teams.
  • Proven project management, preferably with experience in agile project management methodology.
  • Strong and highly proactive communications skills, including the ability to communicate complex strategic & technical recommendations to non-technical internal and external stakeholders in a clear, simple manner.
  • Eager for continued education and learning opportunities as new technologies enter the digital space, such as Google Analytics 4.

Additional preferred knowledge, skill, and abilities, but not required

  • 1+ years of experience of SQL skills and ability to write queries for data manipulation.
  • Understanding R or other statistical and data analysis tool
  • Python preferred but not required.

Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 plus Quarterly Bonus based on Team Growth
Wage differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training and experience.
