I came to Booyah through serendipitous circumstances. I met Kelly Davis at a Duke alumni event, and, essentially, the rest is history! I have worn many hats at Booyah, working across a multitude of verticals and channels. Today I love my role working to strategize and bridge gaps across channels for our clients.
Outside of Booyah I can be found attending movies at the Mayan, supporting Liverpool FC at the pub in the wee hours of the morning, checking local restaurants off my list, or enjoying the Denver sun at a Wash Park laze-about.
Favorite experience at Booyah: Belting ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ at karaoke with Team Vanessa.
If you could sub “Booyah” with another word, to describe this place, what would it be? Trendy
What are you listening to at work right now? ‘December, 1963’ – Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons
Most proud moment at Booyah? Presenting complex strategies and innovations to our clients and proving out Booyah’s thought leadership.
Funniest thing that’s gone down at Booyah since you started working here? Dan G. walking on stage and stealing the mic from a stranger to sing Bon Jovi’s ‘Livin’ On a Prayer’. Again, team karaoke.
If you were handed a roundtrip ticket, where would you go? (Remember, you work at Booyah and therefore have unlimited PTO!) Iceland. It’s like Colorado, Hawaii, and Alaska had a love child.
Most embarrassing moment? Vomming on my then best friend in the middle of the 2nd grade Christmas pageant.
If you got arrested, what would it be for? Retaliating when provoked.
Give me one more thing/fun fact: One winter in college, I slept in a tent for six weeks straight to see Duke play (read: beat) UNC at Cameron Indoor. Worth it.
