I grew up in Minneapolis and yes, I have seen Garrison Keillor live. I spent a lot of time outside as a kid and I still love getting out there. In the summer of 2016 I lived out of a 2001 Dodge RAM van converted into a mobile tiny house while seeking the best of West Coast rock climbing. My van is named Vincent the Van that Goghs, which stems from my love of Art History. At St. Lawrence University I minored in the subject and majored in English Creative Writing. So, how did I end up in advertising? I was a digital media fellow in D.C. during the summer of 2015 and quickly got hooked on digital advertising.
Favorite thing to do in Denver?
I love rock climbing at Movement Climbing & Fitness and grabbing a beer afterward at one of Denver’s many breweries.
Best Denver restaurant / watering hole?
Historians Ale House is my favorite Denver rooftop and has an outstanding tap list.
It’s Saturday at 2 pm…what are you doing?
Sweating my way down a trail in Rocky Mountain National Park trying to out run an impending thunderstorm and day dreaming about what I’m going to make for dinner.
Website you’d most likely get busted looking at while at work?
I’d get busted looking at Airbnb trying to find the most beautiful weekend retreat in Colorado. A tiny cabin in the mountains? Sign me up.
Most unforgettable concert experience?
Any show at St. Lawrence University’s Java Barn: a student run garage venue decorated with psychedelic paintings where every show ran till 2 am.
What would your last meal be?
Sauerkraut. Just sauerkraut.
If you were a hoarder, what would you hoard?
I can’t resist a good coffee mug. I’m well on my way to hoarding these already.
Give me one more thing/fun fact:
My cat is named Sofonisba Anguissola after the 16th century Italian painter who didn’t shy away from depicting women as intelligent and having agency in her paintings. I think she’s half Maine Coon, half mean Brooklyn street cat (my cat… not the artist).
