I was born and raised in New Jersey and went to school in Virginia (JMU, the best college in VA). I was looking for a change of scenery and decided I would move to either Charleston or San Diego, and here I am in Denver! The winning combination of sunshine, mountains, and midwestern hospitality made it an easy choice for me. I would typically say “You can find me reading on the beach”, but these days you’ll find me exploring the mountains and attempting to fly fish.
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning a gold medal for?
I’m really good at those games where you have to spot the differences in photos. I’m sure that would be thrilling to watch in a stadium.
What is your biggest fear?
Centipedes and swimming in murky lakes (mostly b/c alligators, fish, or snakes could be around but you don’t know where)
What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
“We’re in space” – probably Neil deGrasse Tyson
Which of your scars has the best story behind it?
I have a scar on my ankle from a spider bite I got in the Guatemalan rainforest, but my biggest scar is on my knee. I was bombing a hill on my razor scooter in 4th grade and hit a pebble.
What is your best Halloween costume?
My roommate and I were Hall and Oates one year. I try to incorporate mustaches into my Halloween costumes as much as possible.
